US Ready to Come from Behind, Far Behind, in Hemp Industry

AUSTRALIA, CANADA & EUROPE HAVE BEEN ADVANCING HEMP AS A POSITIVE ECONOMIC DRIVER. THE US IS STILL WONDERING IF IT'S LEGAL.

An architect known for advancing hemp in the construction industry recently shared that he regularly fields calls and even makes presentations to leading industry groups, such as the National Homebuilders Association and other professional organizations, not even connected, such as Defense Attorneys. Then there is the Lower Sioux tribe in Minnesota, making headlines this Spring of 2024 with their hemp house construction, getting regular visits from media and politicians. There is a growing realization in the US that the hemp hype has tangible proof, ready to go, to address some of the serious issues we face. Affordable housing, for example. Even in rural areas and small towns, a decent house is often slightly above what a working family can pay, or should pay. Hemp is showing a path of opportunity and this is where CEED Media is aiming our spotlight.

The USDA in 2019 could have launched a multi-billion dollar campaign to educate and finance a hemp industry to show the world what is possible, as we already do with military industrial complex. But in many ways we're stuck back in 1972 it seems, with the paranoia of marijuana and Nixon's war on drug users still firmly intact among some politicians and law enforcement.

Check out what a real hemp industry looks like in Europe, Australia and Canada the approach to hemp is more rational and focused. How can we start to bring more of that here, on a big scale?
